R U Rabble?

Rabble:  “A disorderly crowd; a mob.”

This was the word used by Washington State’s Department of Ecology (DOE) to describe CITIZENS expressing their opinion at a public meeting.  If government workers view the public they are serving as part of a “rabble,” we have a BIG problem. And that’s not the only foot-in-mouth comment made by the DOE. The Ecology Director said that any arguments made against the proposed Ecology rules are “right wing b------t” and GOP legislators who disagree are “f----rs.” Not only is this language inappropriate, it’s INTOLERANT-- especially for a man who is supposed to lead the DOE by listening to all arguments in order to make the best decision for the public.
